Fortune 500 companies, major European multinationals and public-sector organisations trust Cella with their most sensitive legacy data:
Where getting data wrong isn’t an option
Cella is built for organisations that carry decades of business-critical data and answer to regulators, auditors and shareholders for every record of it. Our customers cluster in the sectors where that pressure is highest:
- Energy and utilities. Long asset lifecycles and heavy compliance obligations mean data has to outlive the systems that created it.
- Chemicals and manufacturing. Complex, multi-site SAP landscapes and years of process and safety data to retain and access.
- Pharmaceuticals and life sciences. GxP records, legal hold and long retention periods under MHRA and FDA scrutiny.
- Consumer and industrial groups. Multiple ERPs from decades of growth and acquisition, all still costing money to keep alive.
- Government – multiple different systems, where data must be retained across diverse use cases in local and central government
Real decommissioning projects, real results
Two enterprises, in their own words – how they retired legacy systems with Cella, and what changed once the old systems were switched off.
OCI Global
Chemicals – a European producer of ammonia, nitrate fertilizers and hydrogen.
After a series of divestments, OCI needed a dependable way to keep and access historical data from its legacy SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems for legal, tax and audit – without the cost of maintaining the old systems. Working with our partner Proceed, that legacy data was moved into Cella Cloud with a five-year retention model. OCI now has a stable, compliant home for its data, no longer maintains those legacy SAP systems, and has reported significant savings.
Nouryon
Chemicals – a global leader in specialty chemicals, operating in 80+ countries
Following the acquisition of CP Kelco’s CMC business, Nouryon needed secure, compliant access to historical financial, tax and product-batch data. Working with our partner Proceed, a read-only system was set up in Cella to hold exactly the records Nouryon needed – kept accessible for compliance and audit, with access limited to named users – so the business could switch off the systems it no longer needed to run.
Delivered with our partners
